Music was Dave’s first love. Before pursuing a career as a professional actor and classical singer, Dave had intended to become an instrumental music teacher. He had always hoped to write and play his own music but was fortunate to have a busy (but not profitable) career as an actor and singer.  Auditions, rehearsals, performances, voice lessons, and networking on top of the 40+ hours per week to afford NYC, and then support a family, left precious little time. Twenty-six years into his career that all changed when he lost his day job just before the pandemic hit. Six months unemployed. As a bright side to near financial ruin, this family of mine ain’t half bad. Nice to see them a bit more. It also gave me time to think, to evaluate, and to write.

This is Dave’s third act. He can now say he is a true triple threat . . . . . he can go broke in three genres.
